Sydney Comedy Festival and Civic Theatre Newcastle are bringing the festival's Showcase Tour to town on 12 September 2025. The main festival runs across April and May in Sydney, then the Showcase Tour travels the country from May to December, handing local crowds a condensed dose of festival favourites and some fresh faces. No hard sell here, just a heads up that the comedians are driving this way.

Lineup includes Luke McGregor, Daniel Muggleton, John Cruckshank, Steph Broadbridge, Annie Boyle, David Correos and Frankie Rowsthorn. Recommended for ages 15 and up. Performances often contain coarse language, adult themes, sexual references and material that may offend. Smoke machine or haze may be used. Running time is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes including an interval. Times are approximate and the published lineup is subject to change without notice.
