Get ready to kick back and celebrate our fabulous seniors at the . Mark your calendars for Monday, 11 March 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at HMC, 2A Platt Street, Waratah. With a theme like "Time to Shine," this free event is all about putting our seniors in the limelight. We've got live tunes, cultural performances, and interactive workshops to keep you entertained, along with plenty of stalls to browse. Get ready to groove to the sounds of The Unforgettables Dementia Choir, Jumpin' Jukebox, and Catalina Rock, because who doesn't love a little toe-tapping action?

Feeling peckish? We've got you sorted. Enjoy a lovely morning tea or indulge in a $5 three-course meal indoors, but make sure you book ahead unless you're more of a spontaneous outdoor BBQ enthusiast who just wants to pop by for some good food and multicultural bites—no reservation needed for that. Rebecca Samson, our Acting CEO, says it best: this day is all about celebrating and uplifting our seniors, giving them the spotlight they totally deserve. So grab your friends, bring your best dancing shoes, and come along to enjoy the music, food, and fun. And just so you know, this whole shindig is thanks to the NSW Government, so it's basically a party for us.
