Join us for a laid-back chat on 25 June as we dive into the world of end-of-life options, with a spotlight on Voluntary Assisted Dying, or VAD for those who like to keep things snappy. Since November 2023, VAD has been part of the legal toolkit in NSW for adults who are dealing with advanced illness and a whole lot of suffering. So, if you've ever wondered what that means or how it all works, this is your chance to get the scoop.

Our friendly End-of-life Care Nurse Practitioner, Jeanette Lacey, will help us navigate this sometimes tricky landscape. She'll break down all the care options available as we approach the end, explain the palliative care pathways, and give the lowdown on who qualifies for VAD and how it fits in with other care choices. We get it—talking about the end can raise a few eyebrows and even more questions. So, we're creating a comfy space for everyone to learn, reflect, and hopefully feel a bit more equipped when it comes to making important choices.
