The Newcastle Comedy Club puts on their Friday and Saturday night showcases in a New York style venue smack in the middle of the Newcastle CBD. They mix in local talent from the region with guests popping down from Sydney, Melbourne and further out, and theyve hosted heavy hitters like Wil Anderson and Tom Gleeson before, so the calibre of jokes tends to hold up without too many hecklers derailing the show.

You can grab a drink at the bar if the laughs leave you thirsty, and its all non smoking, sparing everyone the awkward coughs mid punchline.
