Lawrence Mooney has gone properly country. Dead Set Country is his new show about a city bloke who has been roughed up by locals, mourns dead wombats, holds conversations with horses and is inexplicably in an ongoing relationship with a tractor. He likes the word country because, if you put the emphasis in the right place, there's a rude word hiding in there.

Expect Mooney covered in dust, talking a bit slower and attempting line dancing. It's a bit like Clarkson's Farm running head on into Lawrence Mooney's brain about country Australia. Lawrence has been doing stand up for thirty years, has toured with The Comedians and pops up on The Front Bar and The Back Page. Running time approximately 80 minutes with no interval.
