Grab a paddle, clamber into a big red canoe, and meander through the wetlands on this guided paddle near Newcastle. You'll pick up some paddling know-how from the guide, along with the story of how creeks and rivers keep the whole watery world humming along.

Keep a sharp eye for the birds flitting about, fish darting under the surface, and eels slinking through the shallows, probably plotting their next move. It's a laidback outing for beginners and mini explorers aged four and up, paddling alongside an adult, with zero prior skills required unless you count enthusiastic splashing.
