Presented by Monsieur Camembert, Cohen Noir: The Beauty, Mystery and Romance of Leonard Cohen is a reworking of Leonard Cohen's songs and poems that landed after sold out seasons at the Sydney Opera House, State Theatre and City Recital Hall. Monsieur Camembert, who have won three ARIA Awards, take a 10-piece band and a choir and mix in readings of Cohen's poetry and rare audio of the man himself. It's not a straight tribute, more a noir cabaret approach to three decades of material — if you were expecting singalong karaoke, you might want to recalibrate your expectations and your tissues.

Guest vocalists include Alexi Kaye, Diana Rouvas, iOTA, Sue Carson and Timothy James Bowen. Running time is approximately 150 minutes including a 20 minute interval. All persons aged 24 months and over must hold a valid paid ticket to enter the auditorium. If you are bringing a child who will be under 24 months on the day, contact the Ticket Office to organise a Babe in Arms ticket.
