Come on down to Newcastle on May 20 and discover how you can jump into the exciting world of volunteering abroad. Ever wanted to help local communities around the globe while soaking up some new experiences? This session is perfect for you, and everyone is welcome—bring your mates, your family, or even that pesky neighbour you've been trying to avoid.

You'll get the chance to chat with the folks from the Australian Volunteers Program, who'll give you the lowdown on how it all works and walk you through the application process. Plus, they'll let you in on the perks you get, such as allowances, flights, and visa support. You'll even hear from some former volunteers who will regale you with tales from their adventures—and yes, they might share a few little hiccups along the way. Whether you're thinking about hopping on a plane, going hybrid, or volunteering from the comfort of your couch, there's something for everyone. The session kicks off at 6 PM (AEST) and should last about an hour, followed by a Q&A for all your burning queries. So, come grab some knowledge and maybe even a few laughs.
