Monkey Baa Theatre Company has turned the 190?word picture book Where is the Green Sheep? into a proper little theatre outing. It mixes puppetry and animation and follows three farmers on a not-very-sleuthlike hunt for the titular green sheep. Along the way you'll meet Blue Sheep who collects blue flowers, Red Sheep who prefers cartwheels, Bath Sheep who can't get enough bubbles and Bed Sheep who loves to bounce, while the green sheep continues to be very good at hiding.
The production was co created with students from Bankstown West Public School, whose voices help tell the story, and comes from the team behind Possum Magic, Josephine Wants to Dance and Diary of a Wombat. Led by Artistic Director Eva Di Cesare, it's sensory and playful without fuss. Disabled access is available; contact the operator for details.
