Come winter, if your Newcastle home feels less like a sanctuary and more like a freezer, or your energy bill is giving you more chills than the weather outside, then perhaps it's time for a friendly chat. We're putting on an event to help you outsmart the cold and keep your hard earned cash in your pocket. It's for everyone, whether you own your place or you're renting, and it's all about making your home genuinely warm and a bit less greedy with the power.

We'll be getting stuck into the practical stuff: think insulation tips to keep the heat in, clever ways to block those sneaky draughts, and how your window coverings can be your best mate against the winter chill. There's also a bit of a yarn about smart electric appliances for warming up without breaking the bank, plus a peek at solar, batteries, and how to make sense of your energy bill comparisons. You can join us in person for a proper natter, or if you prefer the comfort of your couch, jump online. We'll kick off the presentation and Q&A at 5:30pm, after a 5pm arrival time, and wrap up by 6:30pm. Easy as that.
