On 31 January 2026, the hits Newcastle Beach for two days of World Surf League Junior Qualifying Series action. Over 100 of the regions sharpest under-20 surfers from the Asia Pacific will paddle out at the events original stomping ground, where you can watch these future wave wizards pull off moves that might make your knees wobble just watching.

Facilities wise, expect a bar, cafe, carpark, family friendly setup, no smoking allowed, pet friendly if you check ahead, public toilets, restaurant, and disabled access on offer, so give the operator a ring for the specifics.
