People, cafes, market stalls, buskers, historic buildings and art installations — the usual parade of everyday oddities that make streets interesting. This session treats observation as a craft rather than a mystical gift; you'll learn simple tricks to sharpen your eye so the small, odd, or beautiful bits start leaping out at you. The other useful skill we cover is how to approach people and get them to pose without looking like a door-to-door salesperson.

We'll also run through camera settings, focusing techniques and lens choices that actually work for street photography, not just whatever sounds impressive in a forum thread. The goal is to give you practical tools so you can capture those chance encounters when they happen, rather than missing them while you fiddle with your kit.
