Join us at the Newcastle City Library for a creative adventure that'll have you rockin' out in the desert vibes on January 21, 2025. Channel your inner artist as we take a stroll through Jeannie Baker's stunning Desert Jungle exhibition—think of it as a warm-up for your cactus garden masterpiece. After we soak in the unique sights, you'll gather your decorating tools (a.k.a. paint) and get down to business, transforming plain rocks into a fantastic desert landscape that you can proudly display at home, all while trying not to spill any paint on your clothes.

It's a brilliant way to spend some school holiday time, especially for kids aged 7 to 14 who like to get crafty. The price of admission is a mere $10 per child, which conveniently includes all your art supplies. Just a heads-up, spots are limited, so make sure you secure yours ASAP because nobody wants to be the one left out of the fun.
