The unique 2-day festival aims to increase community access and knowledge to land and water management best practices, provides a platform for local businesses and showcases some local Hunter talent.

Hoping to deliver an interactive, educational experience for all ages and interests.

Looking forward to partnering with organisations and businesses who share our passion about land and water management, environmental innovation and sustainability, and celebrating culture.

The title was chosen as part of the focus on the low burning embers that maintain heat in a fire, a link to the cultural practice of slow burning natural bushes. A reference to the ongoing fire within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities in keeping culture and identity ongoing.
