Pappa Sven drops a selection of Nordic films at Tower Cinema on the first Tuesday of every month, so if you feel like swapping Newcastle Harbour for fjords and dry humour for the evening, this is your low-effort passport. Expect moody landscapes, quirky characters and subtitles doing all the accent work while you sit back and pretend you understand the colour palette.
