Canvas Events supported by the City of Newcastle are excited to announce the launch of the Darby Street Party, celebrating ‘Streets as Shared Spaces’ with a one-day FREE event on Saturday 15th October from 10am – 8pm with something for everyone.


Enjoy your morning coffee at your favourite breaky spot with roving entertainment bringing colour and fun to the street. As you stroll the many traders on Darby, you’ll be entertained by local talented musicians as they play from the newly renovated headphones plaza.

Once you’ve explored the street, head on over to the main stage where you’ll find pop up bar, food stalls and a jam-packed itinerary that moves from family and child friendly entertainers to community group performance and acoustic chill, finishing with the band “Soda” who are sure to get you dancing.
