Newcastle is set for a trip back to the disco era on July 26, 2025, when the Best of the Bee Gees show teams up with the George Ellis Orchestra. They're planning to give a good nod to the legendary Saturday Night Fever album, so expect to hear all those Bee Gees chart-toppers that made you want to strut your stuff. It's not just the Gibb brothers getting all the love; you'll also catch tunes from other disco legends like KC & The Sunshine Band and Yvonne Elliman. To make it even more of a family affair, Bee Gees' niece Debora McLane will be singing along with the rather impressive Roslyn Loxton.

The night is split into two halves: the first act focuses on Bee Gees' greatest hits to get you warmed up, followed by a full-on, high-energy dive into the disco era that Saturday Night Fever defined. Apparently, even members of the Gibb family have given this show their seal of approval, which is quite the compliment. So, if you're keen to put on your boogie shoes and perhaps some white polyester to salute almost 50 years since the album first dropped, this might be your gig. The whole shindig runs for about two hours and ten minutes, including a break to catch your breath. Just a heads up, they'll be using some haze for atmosphere, so be prepared for a bit of a glow.
