Join us for a sewing adventure where you'll discover both the basics and the joy of stitching. In this beginner workshop that spans four Monday mornings, you'll get hands-on experience with all the important stuff, like threading and caring for your sewing machine—because let's face it, nobody wants to be a machine graveyard. You'll master straight, zigzag, and even topstitching, which sounds fancy but is really just a sophisticated way to keep your hems from looking like they were chewed by a rabid raccoon.
You'll also dive into the art of cutting fabric, sewing seams, and figuring out how to sew curves—because who doesn't love a good curve, right? We'll even tackle sewing patterns, so you won't feel like you're deciphering ancient hieroglyphics when you're trying to figure out what fabric you need. We'll supply most of the fabrics and tools, and there will be sewing machines ready for you to use. If you've got your own trusty machine that you're dying to show off, feel free to bring it along. Just remember, this is all about having a good time while learning the fine art of creating, so come prepared to get a little fabric under your nails.
Ages 16 and up are welcome. The four-week ride costs $145, and you'll need to snag a spot in advance. For any booking questions, Sonny and Scout are your go-to people—just check out the event listing. And if you have any special requirements, drop an email to
