Beach Rugby Australia is thrilled to choose Newcastle's Nobbys Beach for its annual Beach 5s Rugby Festival to coincide each year with Australia Day celebrations – building a foundation that has become an annual iconic attraction.

Beach 5's Rugby is spectacular/fast-paced/exciting, based on modified rules of Rugby Union & Rugby League - no scrums, no line-outs - supporting both codes. It is a refreshing new beach sport offering an off-season recreational summer for all those who attend, offering a picturesquBeachch setting - marquees / décor, deck chairs, outside patio umbrellas.
