Forty years in and Cowboy Junkies are still quietly doing what they do best. The set will run from The Trinity Session through to their more recent album Such Ferocious Beauty, touching on decades of material without any need for fireworks. The Toronto band formed in 1985 around siblings Michael Timmins on guitar, Margo Timmins on vocals, Peter Timmins on drums and Michael's long time friend Alan Anton on bass. Their blend of folk, blues and rock found a surprising audience back in 1988 when The Trinity Session sold more than a million copies. Think of it as a quiet revolution rather than a mosh pit.
