Join us at the Wallsend Library for a no-fuss, beginner-friendly computing class led by a TAFE teacher who knows their way around a keyboard. This isn't rocket science; it's just good old-fashioned computer basics. You can expect to learn how to navigate a computer, surf the internet for personal use, and maybe even create your very own spreadsheet without breaking a sweat. And if you've been dreaming of a personal study area that isn't just your couch piled high with laundry, we'll help you get that sorted too.
Don't worry about bringing your own device - leave your fancy gadgets at home. This course is all about getting comfortable with the basics, so you can strut your stuff in the digital world. Just a heads up, the library will be closed on Monday, 9 June for the King's Birthday, so no need to stop by and say hi then. It's a free event for adults, and we promise we won't make you sit through any lectures about the history of computing (unless you ask nicely). Bookings are a must though, and if you've got any special requirements, just let us know when you reserve your spot.
