Ready to tackle the digital world? Join us at the Wallsend Library for a beginner-friendly computing class led by a TAFE instructor who knows their stuff. No prior experience required, just bring your enthusiasm. We promise, no complicated jargon or techie mumbo jumbo here. After the class, you can stick around for a bit of one-on-one device assistance—because we all know that at some point, that pesky gadget will need a little extra TLC.
In this class, you'll learn the essentials: how to navigate a basic computer program, access websites for personal use (yes, that means you can look up recipes or cute cat videos), plan a cozy study spot, whip up a simple spreadsheet that'll impress your friends, and create a basic document because typing out your thoughts shouldn't be rocket science. Oh, and leave your gadgets at home; we've got you covered. Just remember, there won't be any sessions on Monday, 10 March because the library will be shut for staff development—yes, even librarians need to learn new tricks.
